Black Diamond Earrings

It happens on my diamond earrings, which are gold and on my cheaper silver earrings. The colors on each post range from blues to green to black and do not come off when cleaning the earrings. It is definitely the metal changing. What is this and is it a harmful metal that’s causing some kind of toxin that’s going into my blood stream?

I want to get these 1 carat black diamond earring studs. I know that black diamonds are heavier then regular diamonds so a 1 carat black diamond will be smaller then a 1 carat regular diamond, but what can I compare it to? Will it be the size of a 1/2 carat regular diamond? Smaller? Larger?

I’m a male. Athletic body type, ive played soccer around 15 years so i’m in good shape. 5′ 9" around 170 lbs. I just got my ears pierced and i’m looking at black diamond studs. Ive heard 1/4 tdw is extremely small and some people say 1 carat tdw is too big. I don’t know how to get the best idea about what would be good for me. any ideas?

My boyfriend wants earrings for christmas. and i want to be a little different and get black diamonds instead of sliver. His favorite color is black, that why i decided on that. But im not sure if hell like it. He is light skinned. What do you think? Yay Or Nay?

i’m 15 and i’m white. i live in an all white neighborhood with a few token asians in my school and there were zero black guys. i always like black guys though. i think they’re really cool and i love their confidence or should i say "swagger" lol. a lot of them also have a great sense of humor. they’re so much more appealing than the preppy white surfer guys i usually date. i think cornrows is so cute and i love the stylish way they dress. i have celeb crushes on a lot of rappers (p. diddy, t.i., nelly, chingy, 50 cent) and basketball players (allen iverson, carmelo anthony, chris paul, kobe bryant) since i was little.
in august, this guy called durrell transferred into our school and he is sooo hot. he’s only around 5′11 but he has the nicest six pack ever. and he has cornrows, a few tats, large diamond earrings, and really thick chain lol. he immediately became a huge hit at our school starring in football and basketball. i think he’s doing track too. anyway we’re really good friends now. i know some people are intimidated by him because of his street background, but he’s actually a really nice person if you get to know him. i talk to him when i have relationship problems and he opened up about his rough childhood. plus he’s really good at freestyle rapping. the problem is that both my parents and my boyfriend are extremely racist and they hate him. he drove me back to my place one time and my mom was so rude to him in the front lawn and later told me not to hang out with him anymore. my boyfriend is just jealous because durrell is outshining him on the football team. i really really really really wanna go out with him or at least go to this formal with him as my date but i know my parents would freak. he still hangs out with a lot of his old friends sometimes and he has this hispanic girlfriend who is cute in a ghetto fabolous way. i met her a couple times. i think we’re definitely mutually attracted to each other though and both of our current relationships are not especially serious. i’m throwing this house party at my house and i’m so sad that my parents wouldn’t let him invite him.
what should i do? what’s wrong with my parents?

I am an adult now, but I am still haunted by something that happened when I was 14 years old. My mother was over 40 and very poor when I was born. She had another daughter from a previous marriage who was already 17 when I came along so we didn’t grow up together. Belinda married and they became preachers in the Salvation Army. As a young teen I was very active in the church and spent every winter raising funds for the poor. However my mother remained very poor and most times I did not have enough clothing or food. Belinda never provided much for me. When I was 13 my mother sent me to live with them and I could tell I was resented. Belinda’s husband had a little sister who was 14 years old and wealthy and treated better. Christmas I was given a candle and she was given diamond earrings, but my mother advised me not to want materials things. It was very hard because I lacked so many things. I skipped school a lot and was arrested once for truancy and they left me in jail for 5 days. The only kids who accepted me were the poor black ones who became my friends. When I asked to date one black boy my sister became enraged and sent me back to my mother and never spoke to me again. They called me a bad seed. I left the church for good and got a college degree and now work for The Red Cross. I never married but adopted a beautiful half-black baby girl and raised her on my own. The only thing I could not provide her was a family. 25 years have passed and the wealthy little sister is now a very wealthy televangelist in a well-known family and my sister died last year without ever speaking to me. I went to her funeral where my daughter and I were snubbed by everyone. Every once in a while I am overwhelming hurt by all this. How can I move past this?
Unfortunately this is a true story – I wish I could provide names so people would believe my story and know who exactly hurt me but it would only cause more pain. Plus the televangelists have more money than me and can hire more lawyers to lie for them or cover it up. They were in a huge scandal a few years ago and I saw how the church and the lawyers worked to cover it all up.
I never knew how much I missed until I went to the funeral and saw exactly much I missed. Her kids were grown, married, and had kids. It was strange to see how much we all look alike. My mother, Belinda, me and even Belinda’s daughter all look just alike! She looked so peaceful in her coffin surrounded by photos of the family and none of it included me. I never understood why she hated me so much. Sadly I have to admit that reading about the church scandal did make my heart feel a little better because now they don’t look so perfect to the world anymore.

I don’t know how to get pictures on here or else I’d show you guys the dress, but I’m thinking of wearing something a little dofferet to homecoming this year. Historically, I have rocked the cookie-cutter shiney jewel tone strapless homecoming dress, but this year I bought a slinky little black dress with spaghetti straps. It’s not shiny or glitzy and I want to wear a small silver chain necklace with a chunky diamond piece and matching earrings with black patent leather heels. The dress is pretty form-fitting and kindof short so it’s still sexy, but I don’t know if it will look weird going *that* simple. I don’t mind standing out a little, but I don’t want to look underdressed, you feel me? What do you think? Thanks!:)

So tomarrow is Neon Day at my high school and I’m not normally one to wear a bunch of bright neon colors all at once. I like neutral and jewel tones. So I have finally put together an outfit that has a little neon but not to much to where I look like a multicolored fluorescent highlighter.
Here is my outfit….
-a relaxed fit lime/neon yellow green scoop neck tee that has a cute little lace bow on the t-shirt pocket
-a black tube/bandage skirt/A-line skirt. The hem ends a touch below mid thigh and it is jersey material. Should I tuck the tee into the skirt or not?
-diamond stud earrings
-either black t-strap sandals or black studded ballet flats

That’s the basic outfit, I’m still unsure about the accesories. Also,I painted my fingernails neon pink so that adds color.What do you think about the outfit? What would you edit or add?

Ok, so my Mom gave me permission to get a ear piercing, I am asking on how I would look and what girls think about it. These are the 2 stud earrings im thinking about wearing.

1- Square Diamond Stud Earring
2- Black Round Stud Earring

What look would those give me and I am going to it in just 2 weeks, and plz just answer the question.

Do you think that would look good on a guy?

I bought a fushia/pink colored cocktail-type dress to wear to my brothers wedding and black flats with a bow on them and a silver heart necklace with diamond-y earrings. The wedding is next saturday but I’m not sure if I should return them and go for something different.

Do you think that’d be okay? The entire wedding will be from about 3:30 (reception) and then around 5:30 will be dinner/dancing, so it’s early evening.
